Henson House Dedicated in Honor of: William (Bill) Dale Henson

(See Obiturary at End of Page.)

“Jerry Bright said, “Hey, I saw this place that is for sale, let’s go talk to them.” After a few of them saw the house they called some Board Members who met and agreed to purchase the delapidated home.” (From the Independence Daily Reporter.)

That’s how the Henson House was started. After it’s transformation the house was dedicated to William “Bill” Dale Henson (who had passed 4/17/2018 of that year; he and his wife Carol Henson were (she is still) Volunteers/Board Members of HSH.

The first purchased home by HSH: The Henson House 9/24/2018
